By creating an account or enrolling in a Program, you represent that you satisfy the applicable eligibility requirements.
If a particular Program is made available to persons below 18 years of age, separate eligibility requirements, consent mechanisms or Program-specific terms may apply.
3. Varsity and the Programs
Varsity offers upskilling and learning Programs developed or delivered in collaboration with academic institutions, universities, industry partners and other organisations.
Each course, learning program, certification or other offering available through Varsity is referred to as a “Program”.
The specific:
Program description;
curriculum;
duration;
schedule;
delivery format;
eligibility criteria;
fees;
payment terms;
Partner Institution;
credential, if any;
refund terms; and
other Program-specific conditions
will be identified in the applicable Program brochure, enrolment page, offer or enrolment communication, Program-specific terms or other materials provided in connection with that Program (collectively, the “Program Collaterals”).
Program Collaterals form part of these Terms in relation to the relevant Program.
Where there is a conflict between these Terms and Program Collaterals regarding a matter specifically relating to that Program, the Program Collaterals will prevail in relation to that matter.
Subject to applicable law and our obligations in respect of an enrolled Program, we may update, modify, replace, suspend or discontinue Platform features or Programs.
4. Partner Institutions
Varsity may collaborate with universities, academic institutions, industry partners and other organisations (“Partner Institutions”).
The respective roles of Varsity and the applicable Partner Institution may differ from Program to Program.
The applicable Program Collaterals will identify the Partner Institution and relevant Program structure.
Unless expressly stated otherwise in the applicable Program Collaterals:
Varsity facilitates or supports the Program experience;
an academic credential, where applicable, is issued by the institution identified as the awarding institution for that Program; and
Varsity does not independently confer the regulatory or statutory status of a university or other degree-awarding institution merely by facilitating a Program.
5. Certificates, Degrees and Other Credentials
A Program may result in a certificate, degree, diploma, certification, completion credential or other recognition, depending on the applicable Program.
The applicable Program Collaterals will identify:
the credential, if any, associated with the Program;
the entity or institution responsible for issuing it;
applicable completion or eligibility criteria; and
any regulatory recognition or accreditation expressly applicable to that Program.
We do not make any representation regarding recognition, accreditation or regulatory status of a credential except to the extent expressly stated in the applicable Program Collaterals.
Where a credential is issued by a Partner Institution, its award remains subject to the applicable Partner Institution’s academic, attendance, examination, eligibility and completion requirements.
You are responsible for evaluating whether a Program or credential is appropriate for your intended academic, professional, immigration, employment or other purpose.
Enrolment and credentials are personal to the enrolled learner and are not transferable unless expressly permitted in the applicable Program Collaterals.
6. Registration and Accounts
You may be required to create an account to access certain Platform functions or enrol in a Program.
You agree to:
provide accurate, current and complete information;
keep your account information updated;
maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials;
not permit unauthorised persons to access your account;
not impersonate another person or use another person’s identity; and
promptly notify us if you become aware of unauthorised access to your account.
You are responsible for activities carried out through your account to the extent permitted by applicable law.
7. Fees, Payments and Instalments
Fees applicable to each Program will be stated in the applicable Program Collaterals or at the point of enrolment. Where required by applicable law, the total price, applicable taxes and material charges will be disclosed before you complete the transaction.
Depending on the Program, fees may be payable:
as a one-time payment;
in instalments; or
through another payment structure expressly stated in the applicable Program Collaterals.
You are responsible for making payments in accordance with the applicable payment schedule.
Payments may be processed through third-party payment providers. Your use of such providers may also be subject to their terms and policies.
Applicable taxes will be charged in accordance with applicable law.
You are responsible for any bank, foreign-exchange, financing or other third-party charges incurred by you unless expressly stated otherwise.
Failure to make a payment when due may result in suspension or restriction of access to the relevant Program, subject to applicable law and the applicable Program Collaterals.
8. Refunds and Cancellations
Refund and cancellation rules are Program-specific and may differ between Programs. Varsity does not apply a single uniform refund rule to all Programs.
The refund or cancellation policy applicable to a Program will be set out in the applicable Program Collaterals and made available at or before enrolment.
By enrolling in a Program, you acknowledge and agree to the refund and cancellation terms specified in those Program Collaterals.
In the event of any inconsistency between this Section 8 and the applicable Program Collaterals regarding a refund or cancellation for that Program, the Program Collaterals will prevail.
Any refund, cancellation or transfer request will be processed in accordance with:
the applicable Program Collaterals; and
mandatory requirements of applicable law.
Notwithstanding any Program-specific refund or cancellation term, you will remain entitled to any cancellation, refund, replacement or other remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted under mandatory consumer protection law applicable to you.
9. AI-Enabled Features and Proctored Assessments
Depending on the applicable Program, Varsity may make available AI-enabled tools to assist with learning or career preparation.
These may include:
AI-assisted resume review;
AI-enabled mock interviews;
an AI chatbot or teaching assistant; and
other AI-supported features described in the applicable Program Collaterals.
These tools provide automated assistance or feedback and do not replace formal academic evaluation by a Partner Institution where such evaluation applies.
Outputs generated through AI-enabled features may contain errors or limitations. You should independently evaluate information generated through those features before relying upon it.
Certain Programs may include proctored assessments requiring use of a webcam and, where applicable, capture of audio, screen activity or similar information for identity verification and assessment integrity.
Your use of such assessments is also subject to the Privacy Policy and any assessment-specific instructions notified to you.
You must not:
impersonate another person;
use unauthorised assistance;

Certain Programs may include career-acceleration or career-assistance services.
Depending on the applicable Program, these may include:

AI-enabled resume or interview tools; and
similar career-preparation assistance.
Unless expressly stated otherwise in a separate written agreement, Varsity does not guarantee employment, placement, interviews, compensation, recruitment, admission to any employer process or any particular career outcome.
Career-assistance services are intended to support preparation and do not constitute an employment offer or guarantee by InterviewBit or a Partner Institution.

As between you and us, you retain ownership of your User Content, subject to any rights of a Partner Institution under the applicable Program Collaterals.
You represent that you have the necessary rights to submit your User Content and that its submission and use in accordance with these Terms will not violate any applicable law or third-party right.
You grant InterviewBit and its affiliates a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable and sublicensable licence to host, reproduce, process, modify, display, transmit and otherwise use User Content to the extent reasonably necessary to:
operate and provide the Platform;

15. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Platform, Varsity Content, Programs and related services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
Except for warranties that cannot lawfully be excluded, InterviewBit disclaims express and implied warranties, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that:

16. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, InterviewBit and its directors, employees, affiliates, agents, suppliers, licensors and representatives will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive or consequential loss or damage, including loss of profits, opportunity, goodwill or data, arising out of or relating to:
access to or use of the Platform;
inability to access or use the Platform;

Subject to applicable law, InterviewBit’s aggregate liability arising out of or relating to a specific Program will not exceed the fees actually paid by you to InterviewBit for the specific Program giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability to the extent such liability cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.
